EN 12643:1997+A1:2008 vs EN 12643:2014

As of 8 October 2026, no edition of EN 12643 on the lists we archive still gives presumption of conformity under Machinery: EN 12643:1997+A1:2008, EN 12643:2014 all carry an end of legal effect that has passed.

Until the end of legal effect on the older edition passes, both editions give presumption of conformity; after it, only the newer one does. The dates are the Commission's own columns, reproduced from the summary list; "Cited by" and "Withdrawn by" are the implementing decisions named on the rows.

Only editions that appear on the Machinery, Radio Equipment or General Product Safety lists are compared here. An edition that exists at the standards body but has never been cited is not on this page. Record as of 8 October 2026; last movement on these rows 3 September 2022.
