Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 harmonised standards: none cited yet

As of 3 November 2026, no harmonised standard is cited in the Official Journal under the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (Official Journal checked 3 November 2026). The Regulation applies from 20 January 2027, in 78 days, the day 906 references cited under Directive 2006/42/EC reach their end of legal effect.

Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027, and Directive 2006/42/EC is repealed with effect from the same day (Articles 54 and 51). Those dates come from the corrigendum published in OJ L 169 of 4 July 2023; the text first published on 29 June 2023 printed 14 January 2027. The consolidated text of 27 July 2026, which includes the amendments made by Regulations (EU) 2024/2748 and 2026/1744, still gives 20 January 2027.

Free for up to three references: one email in the week one of them moves on the record, a first citation under the Regulation included. Nothing else.

No list under the Machinery Regulation yet. The Commission's machinery standards page, in our daily capture since 9 September 2026, says a decision listing harmonised standards under Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 “is being prepared”, that it “will feature the vast majority of currently cited harmonised standards under the Machinery Directive”, and that “the first Machinery Regulation list can be expected before the end of this year”. Until that list is published in the Official Journal, no standard gives presumption of conformity under the Regulation.

The day a decision on harmonised standards under the Regulation appears in the Official Journal, this page lists its references as read from the decision, each linked to its record here.
