Lifts, escalators and lifting platforms: harmonised standards on the Machinery list

35 references on the Commission's Machinery list are for lifts, escalators and lifting platforms, as of 3 November 2026: 0 cited with no end of legal effect, 23 with an end of legal effect set (23 of them on 20 January 2027, the day Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies), and 12 whose presumption has ended.

This set is every reference on the list whose title names lifts, escalators and lifting platforms. A standard for a product can also sit in another set or under another title, so search the register as well.

No list under the Machinery Regulation yet. Every reference here is cited under Directive 2006/42/EC. The Commission's machinery standards page, in our daily capture since 9 September 2026, says a decision listing harmonised standards under Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 “is being prepared”, that it “will feature the vast majority of currently cited harmonised standards under the Machinery Directive”, and that “the first Machinery Regulation list can be expected before the end of this year”. Until that list is published in the Official Journal, no standard gives presumption of conformity under the Regulation.

Dates are the Commission's own; blank means the list gives none. "Last moved" is the last day a row for this reference changed.
