Restriction: This harmonised standard does not confer a presumption of conformity with the essential health and safety requirements set out in: point 1.1.7. of Annex I to Directive 2006/42/EC, which requires that machinery is designed and constructed in such a way as to provide adequate means to ensure that the operator has good working conditions and is protected against any foreseeable hazards; point 1.2.1. of that Annex, which requires that safety and reliability of control systems apply in a coherent way to the whole of an assembly of machinery, notably in case of reasonably foreseeable human error during operation, so that this does not lead to hazardous situations; and point 1.5.11. of that Annex, which requires that all machinery must be designed and constructed in such a way that external radiation does not interfere with its operation.
The Commission's workbook for this regime, generated in September 2026, carries no separate 'Start of legal effect' column; the publication OJ date is shown in that column.

How to read this page
Every column heading above is the Commission's own, taken from the summary list for that regime. We do not relabel them and we do not infer anything they do not say. A reference can appear on several rows: the Commission adds a row per amended version, each with its own dates.
This page is rebuilt from the archive every day. If a date moves, the change is kept and shown on the changelog.
Watching is free: one email when this reference moves on the official record, nothing else. Reply stop at any time.
